This page is a reference page detailing the organizational structure and various other facts relating to The Kids Corner.

The main purpose of “The Kids Corner” is to provide families with a place that their children can come to safely play, learn, and grow. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care in a loving and learning environment, during their time at our center, starting from ages of 24 months to 6 years.

          The environment at “The Kids Corner” provides opportunities for children to explore materials, take part in activities, and interact with their peers and adults. It allows the child to develop their full potential through physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. To provide these opportunities we create a balance between child-initiated and teacher-initiated activities to maximize learning.

          The environment that we have prepared is the first gradual step from the child’s own home life. We establish routines that the child can do to feel good about themselves and teach them life skills as well. These routines include helping set the table, passing out items, helping with their own bathroom needs, working with materials, and cleaning up their work when they are finished. We also offer an environment rich in hands on discovery which is the best learning tool for toddlers.



“The Kids Corner CV, Inc.” is open from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families may be charged $5.00 for the first 15 minutes a child remains in school past 5:30 and every 15 minutes thereafter.

Childcare is offered from 24 months through 6 years of age. Pre-school is offered between the hours of 9:00-11:30 a.m. each day. Children who stay for more than 5 hours will be encouraged to rest between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. The parents should provide all diapering supplies.



Fee’s

“The Kids Corner, CV, Inc.” enrollment fees are set each year by the Board of Directors.

The Kids Corner will be open 52 weeks a year in which the parents/guardians will be responsible to pay.

Discounts

A 5% discount will be offered for families with two or more siblings.

Payment is due at the end of the week by 5:30 p.m.
